Welcome to my website! I'm Toshihiko Hirasawa (平沢 俊彦 in Japanese), a 6th-year Ph.D. student in Economics at UCLA.

I work on economic theory, particularly inattention (i.e., rational inattention and limited attention) and its applications. I also work on behavioral economics using machine learning methods.

I will be on the 2026–27 academic job market.
