This table immediately changes the narrative.
If the question is simply "which market had the most listings in January 2026?", TorZon was not first.
DrugHub had 12,818 observed listings, while Dark Matter had 9,030 and TorZon 7,755.
Yet major blockchain analysis placed TorZon in a particularly important position among Western-facing markets.
That difference between catalogue size and strategic importance is the central theme of this investigation.
The numbers above are measurements of observable listings.
They are not a ranking of market revenue.

From January 2025 to January 2026, the observed catalogue therefore grew by approximately 95%.
That is important because it weakens a simplistic explanation of TorZon's success.
TorZon was already growing before the July 2025 Abacus closure.

If catalogue size were the only relevant metric, the conclusion would be obvious: DrugHub was more important.

The gap is not enormous.
More importantly, both markets belonged to the group of major accessible markets in the January 2026 monitoring snapshot.
