Are you a STAR station?

No, we are not a STAR-certified station. If your DMV notice requires a STAR smog check, you will need to visit a STAR-certified location.

Do you perform smog repairs?

No, we are a test-only smog check station. We do not perform repairs, but we will clearly explain your results and help guide you on what to do next if your vehicle does not pass.

What do I need to bring for a smog check?

What happens if my car fails the smog test?

If your vehicle doesn’t pass:

• We explain the results in simple terms

• Show what caused the failure

• Guide you on next steps

You can then take your vehicle to a repair shop of your choice and come back for a new test completely free within 30 days after your vehicle failed the test

Can I pass a smog check with the check engine light on?

No. If your check engine light is on, your vehicle will automatically fail the smog inspection.

Do you send results to the DMV?
