Go is an ancient Chinese strategy board game of surrounding territory using black and white stones.

The Toronto Go Club runs meetings, teaches classes, hosts tournaments and supports the go playing community of Toronto.

We provide an open space to play go for free at the 519 Church Street Community Centre every Sunday from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM. Ring the buzzer at the accessible entrance to be let in.

Everyone is required to wear a mask. Meeting capacity is limited to 8 persons. Please follow all city of Toronto COVID-19 requirements and the 519's mask use policy.

For other places to play go in Toronto, visit the Lawrence Park Go School and Club on Mondays and Thursdays, the University of Toronto Go Club on Fridays and the Toronto Go Players Meetup on Sundays. Or visit the Online Go Server to play go over the Internet.

More information on go can be found at the Canadian Go Association (email). Information about go lessons can be found at BenKyo Tutoring.
