Go is an ancient Chinese strategy board game of surrounding territory using black and white stones.
The Toronto Go Club runs meetings, teaches classes, hosts tournaments and supports the Go playing community of Toronto.
We provide an open space to play Go for free at the 519 Church Street Community Centre every Sunday from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
Please be aware of all city of Toronto COVID-19 requirements. Masks are recommended.
For other places to play Go, visit the Lawrence Park Go School and Club on Mondays and the University of Toronto Go Club on Fridays. You can also visit the Toronto Go Players Meetup on occasional Sundays and the Edithvale Community Centre most weekdays. To play Go over the Internet, visit the Online Go Server.
The Lawrence Park Go School and Club also teaches Go in person to children on Mondays and Thursdays while BenKyo League teaches Go over the Internet.
The Toronto Go Club can also be found on Facebook, Twitter, Discord, OGS, Instagram and Flickr, or send us an email. More information on Go can be found at the Canadian Go Association (email) and the Greater Toronto Go Discord.
