Go is an ancient Chinese strategy board game of surrounding territory using black and white stones.

The Toronto Go Club runs meetings, teaches classes, hosts tournaments and supports the Go playing community of Toronto.

We provide an open space to play Go for free at the 519 Church Street Community Centre every Sunday from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM.

Please be aware of all city of Toronto COVID-19 requirements. Masks are recommended.

For other places to play Go in Toronto, visit the Lawrence Park Go School and Club on Mondays, the University of Toronto Go Club on Fridays and the Toronto Go Players Meetup on Sundays. Or visit the Online Go Server to play Go over the Internet.

More information on Go can be found at the Canadian Go Association (email). Information about Go lessons can be found at BenKyo Tutoring.

The Toronto Go Club can also be found on Facebook, Twitter, Discord, Instagram and Flickr. Or contact us for more information.

There is an end of year Toronto Go tournament at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre from December 28 to December 30 called Toronto Go Spectacular.
