Go is an ancient Chinese strategy board game of surrounding territory using black and white stones.

The Toronto Go Club runs meetings, teaches classes, hosts tournaments and supports the Go playing community of Toronto.

We provide an open space to play Go for free at the 519 Church Street Community Centre every Sunday from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM.

Please be aware of all city of Toronto COVID-19 requirements. Masks are recommended.

Meetings cancelled for May 19, May 26, June 23, June 30, August 25, September 29, December 29 and January 5.

For other places to play Go, visit the Lawrence Park Go School and Club on Mondays and the University of Toronto Go Club on Fridays. Check with the Canadian Go Association for other places to play Go outside of Toronto. If you can't play Go in person, you can play Go over the Internet on the Online Go Server.

The Lawrence Park Go School and Club also teaches Go in person to children on Mondays and Thursdays while BenKyo League teaches Go over the Internet.

The Toronto Go Club can be found online on Facebook and Twitter. We are less active on Baduk Club, Discord, Flickr, Instagram and OGS. You can contact the Toronto Go Club via email. More information on Go can be found at the Canadian Go Association (email). You can also join the online Toronto Go community on Discord.
