鳥屋剛毅 (TORIYA, Hisatoshi)

Hisatoshi Toriya is a researcher at SkymatiX, Inc., specializing in computer vision, image processing, remote sensing, and machine learning.

He received his B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees in Systems Engineering from the University of Tsukuba, Japan, in 2012, 2014, and 2021, respectively. His unique career bridges both industry and academia; after working as a researcher at NEC Corporation, he pursued an academic career, serving as an Assistant Professor and later an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of International Resource Sciences, Akita University (2021-2026).

In October 2026, he joined SkymatiX, Inc. to focus on the practical application and social implementation of advanced geospatial and computer vision technologies.
