Dear Parents,

The students continue to work very hard.  They are now fully attending kindergarten in the afternoon.  I am seeing a lot of conversational skills developing.      

We have several events to celebrate this month.  February 7th is our 100 day celebration.  February 14 is our Valentine party.  We have off on February 16 and 19 for Presidents Day.  

In Reading we are beginning to read!  The students are building an extensive vocabulary of sight words and decodable words.  

In Writing, we are writing sentences.  We are learning how to use punctuation and how to illustrate our stories.   

In math we can identifying numbers to 100, count  numbers to 100 and how to add numbers together to get a sum.   We started our subtraction unit in January.  

We will be going outside if the weather permits.  Please send your child in with appropriate attire according to the temperature and weather  conditions.
