The story you are about to listen too is one centered around an unusual figure for the founder of a university ⸺ someone who had graduated from a place of higher learning not long before starting his own, and who preferred to move to the beat of his own drum, than to that of tradition, orthodoxy, or ultimately the law. The drama of his personal and professional life are what drew us to him, but questions over his legacy, memory, founding, and firing, were what helped us uncover and create a tale worth telling.
