Become a Tutor
TOPS Peer Tutoring is always looking for more peer tutors! Tutoring is a great way to give back to your school and peers, as well as a way to get community service hours.
If you are interested in becoming a tutor, please fill out our tutor application:
Applications will be reviewed to ensure that all tutors are in good academic standing. You must be currently passing all of your classes to be eligible to become a tutor. You will be notified by email whether you application has been approved or not.
For New Tutors
After you have received an acceptance email, complete the following steps to start tutoring.
Step 1: Training
We want to ensure that all our tutors are trained. Please review the training slides and handbook linked below:
Step 2: Tutor Profile
If you would like for your profile to be featured on our website, please fill out this form with as much information as you would like to share. Creating a profile is entirely optional!
Step 3: Tutor
After your application is accepted and completing the above steps, you are ready to tutor! Please email Ms. Nair if your availability changes for a tutoring session.
You will receive an email before the tutoring session, which will include the link to the tutoring session.
If you need a log of your hours, please email Ms. Nair
