Getting here 

Walking from Meretoto / Ship Cove

One of the most popular ways to reach Top of the Inlet is by water taxi from Picton to Meretoto / Ship Cove, the northern trailhead of the Queen Charlotte Track. From there, enjoy a 4- 5 hour scenic day's walk through native forest and along the stunning Marlborough Sounds coastline before arriving at Endeavour Inlet.

Top of the Inlet Accommodation is located just a short distance off the track at the head of the inlet, making it an ideal overnight stop for Queen Charlotte Track walkers, Te Araroa Trail users, and visitors wanting to experience the beauty and tranquillity of this special part of the Sounds.

Water taxi from Picton 

Our local wharf  is "Miners wharf"  if you need to be picked up or dropped off by the water taxi companies.
