Simulation
We recognize that precise simulation outcomes depend on high-quality input data. At Top Notch Die Design, we boast over 20 years of experience in simulating complex progressive and single-hit tooling. Our deep understanding of the value of accurate simulation alignment with tool design enables us to proactively identify potential issues before the actual tryout phase.
Process Layouts
The strip layout is the most important component of the design. We work hard to make the layout as accurate as possible since it'll be referenced for the rest of the tool design.
Tool Design
Our designs are created using SOLIDWORKS, complete with detailed drawings. We can export these designs to various file formats for translation purposes. Our customized SOLIDWORKS setup helps us work efficiently, ensuring timely completion of projects without software-related obstacles. Additionally, we benefit from more accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) sizes and visual standardization. Even translated data is color-coded to correspond with dowel and tap locations. We perform interference detection on every design, and each one undergoes a thorough review by another designer to check for functionality, BOM errors, and missing features.
