The Topknots Story

Hi! We're Ali and Alex, the Topknots Twins. Yes, we are actual identical twins. Ali is on the right, and Alex on the left in the big photo above. We have both always loved art of any kind, we are also thrifty and competitive, so when Ali was getting married in 2016 and was having a hard time finding a florist on a tight budget, we decided that we could do it ourselves. Since October 2016 we have discovered a passion that is both beautiful, fulfilling, and a whole lot of work, but something that we take great joy in doing together. We have done weddings for friends, family, friends of friends, and friends of family and finally decided to take our #sidehustle to the next level and open for business! Getting to add extra beauty to an already incredible occasion is such a blessing, and getting to find out what a couple wants and bring their dreams to life is so fulfilling. We call ourselves Topknots Floral because we've found that whenever we are working with flowers we will quickly toss our hair up into a messy topknot (you'll have to take our word for it as we really don't take many pictures in the heat of the action). This parallels our playful and adventurous spirit when it comes to design. Give us all the texture, jazzy colors, and big dreams and we will run wild. We love getting to know the couples we work with and we do everything we can to make their special day extra pretty and full of magic. We are so excited to see where this dream takes us and hope that you choose us to make magic with you!
