Work on your bike / Open Shop
Come work on your bike for free, or come help fix up bikes to donate to the Topeka community.
We have 100's of tools and thousands of dollars of equipment.
Common fixes people come in to do:
Inflate tires
Fix a flat tire
Adjust brakes
Ask advice about repairs
Learn new bike repair skills.

Earn-a-bike
Earn-a-bike
If you need a bike, we offer a way to earn a bike for free.
In general, you will need to spend about 2 hours helping others at the bike shop.
Then, you will spend about 1-6 hours working on the bike you earn.
All the bikes are donated and will need some repairs.
You will also need to learn a few basic bikes skills.
We also hope you join the community spirit and continue to give back by volunteering.
We have kids bikes too.

After reading the checklist, you should either come by the shop, (Bonus if you say "I read the checklist), or you can email us.
If you want to be put on an "earn a bike waitlist", please also email us.
Group Rides

We also do group rides about once a month. These are announced on our facebook site and at the shop.
All rides are family friendly.

Classes

We don't currently run a schedule of classes. For general advice, look to youtube. We have some recorded video content on our facebook page.
If you are just one person, just come to the shop and ask.
If you are a group, please email us and we can probably set something up.
We love teaching kids and have worked with some at-risk youth.
We also have partnered with some schools and occasionally can come to your school.
