Rasgula: Originated from Kolkata, this is a very famous mithai all over the country. Rasgullas are white spherical spongy balls with lot of sugary syrup in it. They are made of Chenna and flour. They are even more delicious than they sound.

Gulab Jamun: The word “Gulab Jamun” means Syzygium jambolanum (an Indian fruit) in Rose water. Like the Rasgullas, Gulab Jamuns are also spherical spongy balls with sugary syrup in it. The colour of gulab jamun is Dark brown. It gets its brown colour from khoya present in it. Gulab jamun is the favourite sweet of most of Indian people.
