Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
4 large eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups mixed dried fruits (raisins, currants, candied cherries, etc.)
1 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
Procedure:
