Okay, so, I've just bought a Poco X3 NFC, last friday. The standard alarm is not loud enough to wake me up. So, naturally, I tried changing it, but, every time I choose a different sound and go back, it changes to default ringtone. Is anyone else facing the same issue? Is there a way to fix this?

The ringtones on this website are in .mp3 format and is compatible with almost all mobile phones. Download ringtones and use them on Nokia Mobile phones, Samsung, Sony Ericsson phones, LG mobiles, Motorola phones etc...

I left the alarm vibrating and opened the phone's volume controls; the alarm volume was on (half way on the bar) and ringtone was off. I slid the ringtone volume up and there it was, my selected alarm song was playing.

I use shortcuts to create three alarms with 3 minutes in between them. This helps me to not fall back into sleep after hitting snooze. The shortcut also sets the timer on my blinds. All works fine since iOS 12, however now on iOS 13, I always get the default "radar" sound. On iOS 12, I somehow had the default alarm tone set to "signal", but I'm not able to set this on iOS 13. Any ideas?

When user set alarm it call the broadcast receiver and from them i call my ringtone service to start ringtone. and it will fire a notification. in that notification it will have a disable button. i have done all the resource i had found on internet. but

My alarm ringtone is not sounding. I have gone to settings and made sure all the sounds were up to full volume. It is still silent or very faint when it sounds. It is impacting my work because I am not waking up on time. I very much need this problem resolved. What could be happening that my alarms or timers (it's the entire clock function) that it won't sound.

The song plays fine in the app, it just does not work with the alarm, in fact any song I chose does not play, the alarm just vibrates, but if I chose a ringtone it works, it just won't work with songs. I have Apple Music subscription as well.

Does the song play as expected from your Music app? If so, have you also tried deleting the song and adding it back to test? If not, test and re-add to the alarm. If needed, the steps for adding an alarm can be found here: How to set and manage alarms on your iPhone

I got a new phone and I had to purchase songs that I had only purchased on the new phone. When I did that the songs worked on the alarm. These songs must be songs I have never purchased in the past. Yes that is still a great glitch, but at least I have some alarm songs now. I have told Apple about this.

I have an iPhone 13 Pro also. I had to purchase songs on iTunes that I had never purchased before on any previous iPhones that I have owned. Than I chose just those songs to use for the alarm, and it worked immediately. I have spoken to Apple Customer Service and they knew nothing about the problem, and they had no solution for it. I am going to call them today to tell the solution I have found, and to suggest to Apple that they do a software update, so we can use all the songs Apple provides both purchased and not purchased.

Even though when I set an alarm with a song that is on my phone (or, at least, worked with my 2020 phone), and the alarm app will play a preview of that song when I set it, all I get when the alarm goes off is the default sound (annoying!) and vibration.

I do have Apple Music right now (giving that a second chance bc it was awful the first go), but if it is the source of the problem, I am going to quit that for good. I'd rather have my songs, ripped from my CDs (remember: 2012 MacBook, still going strong!) and purchased from my sources, than not be able to my play music for alarms.

I would understand if the music I was trying to use was ripped from a cd or other outside source, but it isn't. And neither is my ringtone. I've paid Apple to use those sounds - twice in fact for each tone - and after 8 months this issue can't be resolved? It makes me miss my droids!

I have the exact same issue. Music downloaded on my device plays but other music in my library will not. It used to work fine as long as I had a wifi connection (my music library is all on my phone via icloud). The song plays when I set up the alarm but not when it goes off. I don't see a solution except to ensure the songs I want to use for alarms are actually downloaded onto my phone.

this is happening with both of our iPhone 7 alarms. We're getting radar no matter what we choose. I usually just use a different ring tone, and my husband uses music. I've installed the update, and still get radar. Sorry i don't have a fix.

Hi, I just found a way to play your music for an alarm, I when to my music hit on my songs, all my songs that had the cloud icon were not in my phone so I could not uses them as alarms, all I had to do was hit the cloud icon and it downloaded into my phone, how I can use that song for an alarm ??, try it c if it works for u, take care

Same exact issue on my iPhone X and nothing seems to fix it. I can't figure out how to delete and re-download my purchased tones. I can at least get rid of that awful radar tone by switching to built in ringtones for an alarm, but none that I've paid for.

I am not sure if this is a software issue, but my alarm clock is not playing the songs that I have selected. The songs are downloaded in Apple Music. I have deleted said songs and reinstalled them and still nothing. The software is up to date with the latest version (at the time of this post iOS 14.6). The funny thing about it is that it plays the songs that I downloaded weeks ago. The 2 songs that I have attempted to use as my alarm ringtone were just downloaded within the last 2 weeks. Hence, why I think it may be a software issue that hopefully will be fixed with the next update. Has anyone else had this problem or have a solution on how to resolve this? Thank you.

Yep. That totally seems to be the easier fix. I totally forgot they even had the option to switch to Dolby atmos or Lossless types. Makes sense. Saves money too instead of having to buy the song as a ringtone, etc.

I am trying to set an alarm overnight based on if it is a workday or not. I have this working but am struggling to set a ringtone for the alarm, anything I do just ends up with the default tone. Does anyone know how I can use android.intent.extra.alarm.RINGTONE to set the ringtone to a specific file?

Hello, it s definitely impossible to use the alarm fonction as my only option is to set vibration on or off... the icon of the bell is desperately crossed and I can't find the way to activate it... Any idea?

The Approach S70 does not have an audible alert tone other than the vibration function for alarm sounds on the watch. From the menu Clocks > Alarms > The switch next to the alarm will show green set ON or gray if OFF.

Thank you very much for having answered me.

As I am French, I need to be sure I understood the English sentence well: this watch has an alarm fonction that definitely CANNOT ring to wake you up. Am I right?

When I tap on Change I'm redirected to Sounds & notification section of Settings, where I can only see Phone ringtone and Default notification ringtone. Both set (not silent). As for alarm I can only see alarm volume (not ringtone) which is also around half (50%) and thus not silent as well.

I've been out of "Android world" for around two years or so. Last version I've used was 4.3.5, but I can hardly recall something like default alarm ringtone. If I'm not mistaken, there was default tone for notifications and default ringtone, but alarm tone was always set per each alarm separately.

Go through all of your alarms, including inactive ones, and see if you have "Default Ringtone (Unknown)" set for any. If so, change the ringtone to your custom one or a preset, or delete the alarm entirely.

When making any new alarms, it should default to the last one you used... but just make sure to avoid "Default Alarm Sound." (For some reason it calls it the Default Alarm Sound in the drop down menu, but the Default Ringtone after it is selected).

Assuming Moto is using a near-AOSP clock app... When you have an alarm in the list (enabled or not), you should be able to set its ringtone individually. Setting one will make alarms created in the future use that ringtone by default.

What other notifications are you getting from smartthings? If its just your alarm, why not set the sound to something more to your liking? And you could set the notification to priority so its louder/always on.

Now if you want all SmartThings notifications to play this file, select it as the application notification. I just wanted the SMS messages from SmartThings that are sent from alarm conditions to trigger the file. To do this I added a contact and included the phone number from the SMS messages sent by SmartThings as the mobile number. Then you can add a field to the contact to specify a custom message notification sound and select the music file you added to the Notifications folder. Give the contact a name and save it. SMS messages from SmartThings will appear with the contact name and trigger the custom notification. Make sure the file plays long enough to wake you up, though, since it will only play through once. This eliminates the need to devote memory to IF an/or Tasker. Your notifications volume will need to be set fairly loud, so other short notifications might hinder your sleep.

6. Under the "RINGTONES" heading on the next screen, tap the alarm sound you want. A sample will play for each tone. If you don't want any alarm sounds, just tap None.

6. Under the "Songs" heading of the "Sound" screen, tap Tone Store to go to the iTunes section of the iTunes Store app so you can buy ringtones from a wide range of musical options. You can also choose alert tones of a favorite character's voice. e24fc04721
