Thank you for using Cartoon Photo Generator: Toonz ("we", "our", or "us"). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
We use services like Google Firebase and Google AdMob to automatically collect non-personally identifiable information, including:
Device type and model
Operating system version
App usage data
Crash reports
Approximate location (based on IP address)
Advertising ID (for ad personalization)
Toonz allows users to upload or create images for cartoon-style processing. These images may contain human faces, but:
Collection: We do not intentionally collect, identify, or extract facial recognition data or biometric identifiers.
Processing: Images (including any faces within them) are processed only to apply cartoon or artistic effects.
Storage: By default, all images remain stored locally on your device.
Temporary Processing (if applicable): If any image processing occurs via external services, images are processed temporarily and are not stored permanently on our servers.
We use your information to:
Provide and improve the core functionality of the app
Apply cartoon effects to user-uploaded images
Monitor performance and fix issues (via Firebase Crashlytics)
Analyze usage trends (via Firebase Analytics)
Display ads (via Google AdMob)
We do not use facial data for identification, recognition, tracking, or profiling purposes.
Although Toonz does not provide face recognition or face swap features, uploaded images may contain faces. Our handling of such data is as follows:
Face Data Collected: None intentionally. Faces may appear only as part of user-uploaded images.
Purpose of Use: Solely to apply visual/cartoon effects to the entire image.
Third-Party Sharing: We do not share facial data with third parties.
Storage Location: Images are stored locally on your device unless temporary processing is required.
Retention: Any temporarily processed images are deleted immediately after processing is complete.
We use the following services:

Google AdMob – advertisements
These services may collect device-level data as described above.

Delete images anytime from within the app
Uninstall the app to stop all data collection
This app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We implement reasonable safeguards to protect data. However, no system is completely secure.
We may update this policy. Changes will be reflected in the updated effective date.
