Design

We wanted to play with the duality of complexity and simplicity. We created a world of more complicated assets, and a wave, the "Toonami", which would turn them simple. In our first iteration,  the wave would chase a ball, simplifying everything until it catches the ball. In our final design, a ball bounces down the street, simplifying everything it passes by as it travels through the town.  Eventually, the ball itself simplifies, and becomes a cube, skidding to a stop to end the scene.
