Tools for the Trip: Camping Information

Emerald Lake State Park - Located on VT Route 7 just 3.5 miles north of the Wilson House, this beautiful campground is another popular lodging choice. We have reserved several campsites together. Many of the retreat women camp here each year and we welcome newcomers!

Camping Cost

Camping fees will be prorated based on the number of campers who sign up, Historically, costs average $20-$25 per person for the weekend.

What to Bring

First time campers may have questions about what to bring, and what to expect. We hope you find these suggestions helpful. We have a limited amount of basic camp gear available. If you need a tent or space in a tent, please let us know ASAP.

Tent

Sleeping bag or other bedding; pillow

Cot or air mattress

Extra blanket - it does get cool in the mountains at night

Flashlight, lantern

Camp chair - for hanging around the campfire.

Jacket - it does get cool in the mountains at night!

Rain gear (poncho/rain jacket; umbrella)

Swimsuit, beach towel

Water bottle

Sunscreen & Bug spray

Bag for toiletries/ shower supplies

Towel(s), washcloth

Quarters for shower (coin-operated)

Medicines, vitamins etc.

Snacks to share

Journal/ notebook/ pens
