Register online at The Wilson House

UPDATES: For those who have registered for this year's retreat, here's some information to help you plan the weekend.

Retreat Registration will be at the Wilson House on Friday starting at 3:00

Dinner on Friday is not included and is on your own. The Wilson House offers a Friday Night Supper (open to the public) for $15 served at either 5:00 or 6:00 -- please make your own reservations with the Wilson House if you plan to have dinner there: https://www.wilsonhouse.org/friday-night-suppers/

We will have our Welcome to the Retreat gathering on Friday at 7:30 in the Church across the street from the Wilson House.

Saturday will start with breakfast (included) at the Wilson House from 8:00-9:00; our programs and panels will start at 9:00. We will have a morning of topical panels and small group discussions. Lunch will be served from 12:00-1:00 followed by afternoon panels and small groups - and a special art project. Time for hiking or a quick trip to the Lake. Saturday Dinner will be served at 5:30.

Saturday evening we will hold a gentle ceremony at the graveside of Bill and Lois Wilson - offering our thanks to these amazing souls. We will then convene back at the Wilson House around 8:30 for our Second Annual Open Mic session -- got a poem you'd like to share, a song you'd like to sing? Come ready to share -- or just to listen and enjoy!

Sunday breakfast will be from 8:00-9:00 and we'll wrap up with a final panel -- and then head to Emerald Lake for some fun in the sun and water -- and the Annual Floatilla so bring a flotation device if you have one (best one wins prizes!!) and we'll have a float around the lake.

A couple of other notes -- while the House is basically ours for the weekend, there are a few open/public meetings that will be held while we're there including a Saturday afternoon meeting (to be held in the dining room (while we're in the Big Room), a Saturday night Step Meeting 7:30-8:30 (while we're out) and an early Sunday morning meet (before we get started).

Remember - lodging is NOT included in your registration. The Wilson House is fully booked with Retreat participants at this point. The are a number of hotels and lodging options in the surrounding area including nearby Manchester VT.

One of our members has rented an AirBNB in nearby Manchester and has a room or two available - please email us at Tools4thetrip2020@gmail.com if you are interested in sharing in this rental.

Interested in Camping?

A wonderful, low cost "housing" option - Emerald Lake State Park - Located on VT Route 7 just 3.5 miles north of the Wilson House, this beautiful campground is another popular lodging choice. We have reserved several campsites together. A number of us camp here each year and we welcome newcomers! Visit our "Camping Information" page to learn more.

Got a song, a joke, a poem to share?

Back by popular demand -- Open Mic on Saturday night. Send an email to sign up: Tools4thetrip2020@gmail.com

Make plans to stay over on Sunday to enjoy some downtime at Emerald Lake and soak in the Joy of Living!

What better way to wrap up a summer retreat than to head to the lake! We will gather after the retreat wraps up on Sunday for some waterside fun and relaxation.

Bring your swimsuit, towel, and a float, inner tube or noodle and join us for a leisurely swim around the island at Emerald Lake. Join the Floatilla!! A floating parade around the lake with prizes for best float!

Bring snacks, drinks, or a dish to share for lunch (totally optional!) There is $4 per person entrance fee to enter Emerald Lake State Park. Campers are exempt from the fee because they already paid for camping.
