1. Overview Tools & Sync Pro ("the Extension") is a workflow utility developed by Hamza Rhaddou. This privacy policy describes how the Extension collects, uses, and protects your information.
2. Data Collection and Usage We do not collect, track, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) to external servers. The Extension operates entirely client-side within your browser.
3. Local Data Storage The Extension uses the chrome.storage.local API and the unlimitedStorage permission to save:
User Preferences: Settings such as theme colors, font size, and filter presets.
Workflow Backups: Temporary snapshots of form inputs (e.g., text fields, dropdown selections) from ncr-maroc.com. This data is stored locally on your device to prevent work loss during network interruptions. It is never shared with the developer or third parties. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser cache or uninstalling the Extension.
4. Permissions Usage The Extension requests the minimum permissions necessary for its "Single Purpose" functionality:
Host Permissions (*://*.ncr-maroc.com/*): Used strictly to inject the sidebar, visual filters, and automation tools into the NCR Maroc portal. The Extension does not monitor or run on any other websites.
Microphone: Used exclusively for the "Voice-to-Text" feature. The Extension utilizes the browser's native Web Speech API. Audio is processed by the browser's speech engine to convert speech to text on the fly. The Extension does not record, save, or upload audio files.
ActiveTab: Used to detect when you click the extension icon to toggle the main menu overlay.
5. Third-Party Services The "Voice-to-Text" feature relies on Google Chrome's built-in Web Speech API. The processing of this audio is governed by the browser's own privacy policy and settings. The Extension itself does not retain access to this data once the transcription is complete.
