Tool GPT CMS — Story Automation (“Tool GPT CMS”, “the extension”, “we”) is a Chrome extension designed to help users automate sequential story-content production and publish user-generated content to WordPress or CMS websites that the user configures and is authorized to access.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the extension processes, how that information is used, where it may be transmitted, and what choices users have.
Tool GPT CMS may process the following information when necessary to provide its core functionality:
The extension processes content that the user intentionally provides, including:
source text used to generate stories;
Thinking Files or instruction files selected by the user;
generated story content;
Full Story content;
Traffic Bait text;
generated Story Images;
publication titles and related publishing information.
This information is used only to perform the content-generation and publishing workflows initiated by the user.
When publishing to a WordPress or CMS website configured by the user, the extension may read or process limited website information required to:
confirm that the user is authenticated;
identify the configured website;
verify publishing capabilities;
upload media;
create or update posts;
verify publication results;
retrieve the resulting publication URL.
The extension does not collect general browsing history.
Tool GPT CMS may use the authenticated browser session of a WordPress or CMS website in order to perform actions that the user has requested.
The extension may temporarily process information such as:
authenticated session state;
CSRF tokens;
site-specific authorization information.
Tool GPT CMS does not intentionally store website passwords, browser cookies, or CSRF secrets as persistent Site Profile data.
Authentication remains controlled by the website and the user's browser session.
Tool GPT CMS uses Chrome local storage to save information necessary for its functionality, including:
extension settings;
selected writer configuration;
Site Profiles;
Batch and Job state;
processing progress;
recovery and resume information;
generated artifact metadata;
publication results and links.
This information is stored locally in the user's Chrome profile unless it must be transmitted to another service in order to perform a user-requested function.
Local data remains on the user's device until it is deleted by the user, removed by the extension's own controls, or removed when the relevant Chrome profile or extension data is deleted.
Tool GPT CMS communicates with a locally configured 9Router service in order to perform AI-assisted content-generation tasks.
9Router may route user-provided content and generation instructions to an AI service or model selected or configured by the user.
Information transmitted for AI processing may include:
source text;
story-generation instructions;
generated-content context;
quality-review prompts;
image-generation instructions.
Tool GPT CMS does not sell this information.
Data transmitted to an AI provider may be subject to the privacy, security, logging, and retention policies of that provider or service.
Users are responsible for reviewing the policies of the AI services they choose to use through their configured 9Router environment.
When the user chooses to publish content, Tool GPT CMS may transmit generated content and media to a WordPress or CMS website configured by the user.
This may include:
article title;
article body;
generated image;
publication status;
other fields required by the selected publishing system.
The extension only performs these actions on websites configured by the user and for which the user has provided or granted the necessary browser permissions.
Published content remains on the destination website until it is modified or deleted through that website or its administration system.
Deleting a Batch from Tool GPT CMS does not necessarily delete content that has already been published externally.
Tool GPT CMS requests access to website origins only when required for its publishing functionality.
Host access may be used to:
communicate with the locally configured 9Router endpoint;
verify authentication on a user-configured website;
communicate with WordPress or CMS APIs;
upload images;
publish content;
verify publication results.
The extension is not designed to monitor unrelated websites or general browsing activity.
Tool GPT CMS may use Chrome permissions including:
Used to store settings, Site Profiles, Batch/Job state, recovery information, and publication results locally.
Used to identify and coordinate with WordPress or CMS tabs involved in user-requested publishing workflows.
Used only on website origins authorized by the user when necessary to verify session information or support publishing operations.
Used to support Manifest V3 service-worker wake-up, recovery, sequential processing, and safe continuation of pending work.
Tool GPT CMS does not intentionally download or execute remote JavaScript or WebAssembly code that is not included in the extension package.
Communication with 9Router, AI services, WordPress, CMS websites, or other APIs is used to exchange data required for the extension's functionality and is not intended to load executable extension code.
Tool GPT CMS does not sell user data.
Tool GPT CMS does not use user data for:
advertising;
creditworthiness or lending decisions;
unrelated behavioral profiling;
unrelated analytics;
tracking users across unrelated websites.
User data is processed only as necessary to provide the functionality requested by the user.
User data may be transmitted only when necessary to provide a requested function.
Examples include:
transmitting generation input through the user's configured 9Router environment to an AI provider;
sending content or images to a WordPress or CMS website selected by the user;
reading publication results from those websites.
These third-party services operate under their own privacy policies and terms.
Tool GPT CMS does not control the retention policies of third-party AI providers, WordPress hosting providers, CMS providers, or websites operated by the user.
Local extension data may remain in the user's Chrome profile until the user deletes the relevant Batch, clears extension data, removes the Chrome profile, or uninstalls the extension.
Content transmitted to third-party services may be retained according to those services' own policies.
Content published to WordPress or CMS websites remains on those websites until removed by an authorized user or administrator.
Tool GPT CMS is designed to minimize unnecessary credential storage.
The extension uses authenticated browser sessions where supported and does not intentionally persist website passwords or authentication cookies inside normal Site Profile configuration.
External publishing actions use validation and reconciliation mechanisms intended to reduce accidental duplicate publications.
No software or transmission method can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect access to their Chrome profile, local computer, website accounts, and connected services.
Users control:
which source content is submitted;
which AI writer is selected;
which WordPress or CMS websites are configured;
when a Batch is started;
whether publishing features are used;
which website origins receive access permission.
Users may remove local extension data by using the extension's controls or uninstalling the extension.
Published content must generally be removed through the destination WordPress or CMS website.
Tool GPT CMS is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children.
Users should not intentionally submit personal information belonging to children unless they have the appropriate legal authority and a legitimate reason to do so.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Tool GPT CMS functionality, integrations, or data-processing practices materially change.
The latest version will be published at this Privacy Policy URL with an updated effective date.
