Planetary Systems

Plots of planetary systems, such as the Earth-Moon system. 

The positions for satellites are plotted every 7 days, with line segments connecting each position. We then plot this over 700 days, so basically 100 positions. To visualize the orbit, look at the outside pattern of dots. The faster the satellite moves around its planet, the longer the line segments between positions will be. This creates an interesting pattern that can help visualize the speed of the satellite moving around its orbit.
