In 2019, Tonorp Farms took farming further by going into cassava cultivation. We started with two acres of cassava,namely TME 419 for its ruggedness and massive yield. With the success recorded in a test trial,we have since expanded to 7 acres .
Supplying cassava processors with raw cassava to be processed into Cassava flakes(Garri), starch, cassava flour, e.t.c.
TME 419 is an exceptionally high-yielding, starch-containing, disease- and pest-resistant cassava variety with strong culinary aptitude (pilability), making it the favorite variety in West Africa.
