Head Coach: Luke Elfner (4th Season)

Luke Elfner is in his second year as the Varsity boys head golf coach at Minnetonka High School. Luke is also The Director of Instruction at Windsong Farm Golf Club entering his 8^th year at Windsong. Luke was born and raised in Apple Valley, MN and played varsity golf for Eastview High School. After high school Luke played 4 years of college golf at Winthrop University where he captained his senior year and rose to as high as 40th in the nation. After his 4 years Luke became the graduate assistant coach at Winthrop University and played professionally for a year. After ending his playing career Luke accepted an assistant golf professional position at River Run CC in Davidson, NC. At River Run Luke mentored under two of the most accomplished golf instructors in the southeast, David Ross and Master professional Jim Lohbauer. Luke has been teaching for over 15 years and given over 10,000 lessons from beginners to touring professionals and currently works with 14 collegiate and professional players. Luke is a Class A golf professional and PGA Certified in Teaching and Coaching. Luke is also a TPI Level 3 Certified Junior coach and TPI Level 3 Golf Coach. Luke specializes in the fitness of golf along with mental training and tournament preparation.
