Hi, I'm Tonie. 

I am a Math Fellow (previously titled Visiting Assistant Professor) at the University of California, Santa Barbara, mentored by Jon McCammond. I completed my PhD in Mathematics in 2025 at the University of California, Davis, under the supervision of Eugene Gorsky. 

Currently, Rhea Palak Bakshi and I organize the UCSB Topology Seminar, which meets Tuesdays from 3:30 - 4:30 pm. 

Rhea and I also organize a weekly reading group on cluster algebras, which meets Wednesdays from 1:00 - 2:00 pm for the Spring 2026 quarter.
