If you are reading this and have heard the song, it’s pretty obvious why this song is listed as the best. Any song with Kendrick Lamar already has a lead because of just how good of an artist he is. Not only does Kendrick lend his talent to the song, he also has arguably the best verses on the album, which I’ll talk about later. The verses done by Future to start the song flow smoothly and help with the beat provided, which is such an earworm. The track was destined to be a hit with such a great blend of beat, lyrics, and vocal delivery. The main standout on the album, though, was delivered by Kendrick during the now infamous diss to Drake, where he threw massive amounts of shade at the Canadian artist. With disses to his song First Person Shooter and his previous album, For All The Dogs, it's no wonder why the song spread like wildfire online as it debuted at #1 on Billboard's Hot 100. The song is phenomenal and an even better diss track that makes me excited for whatever comes next in this saga of disses.

On an album like this one, where there are plenty of amazing songs on the project, it’s hard to find a song that is the worst. Magic Don Juan finds itself as the worst song on the album for a multitude of reasons. The song is lacking when it comes to substance; the lyrics are alright, but when put to the repetitive beat, that never really changes throughout the song. The song's constant break in the beats for the features takes away from the overall melodic flow of the track and doesn’t really feel like it adds a lot of flavor to the song. For some redeeming factors, though, the vocals are delivered in a great and consistent way by Future and the beat, which can save the song from being a bad song. The song itself is still a good song but just lacks what it seems like all the other songs have. Just a good song on a stacked album that leaves itself down toward the bottom because of it.
