Our Refund Policy
All Sales Are Final: We are unable to offer refunds or exchanges once a ticket is purchased.
Supporting Our Artists: Because we are a small independent venue, non-refundable tickets ensure we can cover essential administration costs and guarantee that our visiting artists make a reliable living.
Every Seat Matters: When tickets are bought, but seats are left empty, it deeply affects us. Empty seats mean fewer people at the bar, and those bar sales are essential to keeping our independent theatre running.
Can’t Make a Sold-Out Show? If your plans change and a show is sold out, please do let us know! While we still cannot issue a refund, notifying us gives us a chance to offer your seat to someone on our waiting list. This keeps the theatre full, keeps the bar buzzing, and keeps our doors open.
Thank you for your understanding, your cooperation, and your vital support of independent theatre!
We advise arriving at the Tom Thumb Theatre for a performance 30 minutes before the show is due to start to allow you enough time to buy a drink and use the facilities. Please note our facilities are unisex and only one toilet upstairs and one in the theatre.
The auditorium is very small, meaning that once a show is running, any latecomers may be very disruptive to those already enjoying the performance. While we will try to accommodate latecomers where possible, likely, you will likely not be granted access to the theatre. If you arrive late and are not allowed in, we regret that we are unable to offer refunds.
From 12 months onwards, everybody needs a ticket.
We understand that children over 12 months might sit on your knees or not take up much room, but we have a legal capacity in the auditorium and children over 12 months contribute to capacity so it’s a requirement to know that they’re coming. If you don’t tell us in advance and the show is sold out; we won’t be able to accommodate your child in the auditorium.
Please always check the show page on our website for further details. Some of our shows have age recommendations where children can only be admitted with adult supervision. And some of our shows have strict age restrictions according to content.
We welcome younger children; however, if they become unsettled during a performance, please respect the other audience members and take your child out of the auditorium.
Do you have a cloakroom?
Unfortunately, we do not have a cloakroom, so please avoid bringing large items with you.
We can’t accept responsibility for anything you choose to leave with us or unattended while you’re in a show.
Can I take photos or videos?
We are at the TTT, happy for you to take photos in the venue, and feel free to tag us @TomThumbTheatre. However, please note that each performance will have a different view on photography during the performance, so please respect the wishes of the artists, which will be announced at the start of the show.
