– He is born in Seoul, South Korea.

– His nicknames are Woong, Sloth, Peanut, Dachshund, and Woongie.

– He can do splits.

– HWANWOONG believes that his attractive point is the difference between his image on an ordinary day and when he’s on stage.

– He ranked 42nd in Produce 101 Season 2.

– He is a former PLEDIS Entertainment trainee.

– Hwanwoong can move his Adam’s apple quickly.

– He used to train with Seventeen‘s Seungkwan and DK for a short period of time. He was seen greeting and hugging them along with Hoshi last AAA 2023.

– HWANWOONG was a finalist of the Pledis Hot Debut back in 2013 and was a potential Seventeen member.

– He is an only child.

– His dancing specialties are locking, wacking and street dancing.

– He practiced really hard at singing because he knew he is lacking on that part that there was a time where he was singing 'Emergency Room' in the elevator and got shocked when he saw a paper the day after asking the one who is singing to be quiet. Because of this, his parents finally allowed him to enroll into a vocal academy.

– He became friends with THE BOYZ' Q and Juyeon because of Road to Kingdom and eventually appeared on Kingdom to make a surprise visit and show support to them along with Seoho.

– He (kinda) appeared on a Tokyo Gas commercial as the idol that the main character likes. This commercial went viral because of how relatable and warming the whole commercial is.
