The biggest common theme I found among my classmates pages was out use of social media. Social media was very consistently near the top of the list, and ealways used on the phone rather than the computer. Mainly because having apps like Instagram or Twitter is much easier to get to than by going to the actual website. They are also very addicting through the app version, it is easy to spend hours and hours on a social media app without even realizing.
Another common theme I found was music being a major media we all used. Almost everybody listened to music, and had it pretty high on their list. I like to listen to music when I study because it helps me focus, and I am willing to bet that is a reason a lot of others listen as well. I also feel it is because music is so easy to reach nowadays, all you need is a pair of headphones. You don't even need a subscription to something like Spotify, you can just go to Youtube and find some there. This did not surprise me that much though, as I feel listening to music is a common thing among all people, but maybe more so with college students.
The last theme that I found was in the TV shows that we listed. When I was putting down my examples, I chose to put some of my favorite shows to give an accurate representation of what type of shows I watch, and a lot of people had the same shows I did. I found that a lot of people listed Breaking Bad as one of their shows, as well as sitcoms like The Office. My initial thoughts on this was just that everybody had good taste in shows, but then I realized that with all of us being in a similar stage in life, interested in the same major, it makes sense we would be interested in the same shows. I thought this was a cool commonality though, helped me to see that I have a lot more in common with my classmates than I think.
I also found that a lot of us had a very similar webpage design, and reason for taking the class, which does not surprise me. Having a simple, but organized page with a bulleted list was my first instinct, and I figured it would be for everyone else as well. It also did not surprise me that a lot of us had the same reason for taking the class, as we are all trying to learn how technology has changed society, and the potential it has to keep changing it.

Based off of what I read, something I would add would be a new section for school media. I completely disregarded this as a part of my media use but it very clearly is. I am constantly on Canvas looking through assignments and notes, and using tools like Google Docs or VSCode to do that work. I also did not even think about the fact that I use zoom for two of my classes, which would also be a significant media to write down. I also would add a section for advertisements, as I realized over the last week just how many ads I see. Whether it is billboards, mobile adds, or even commercials, I see ads everywhere I go, so I would add that section as well. Other than those 2 new sections, I do not think I would change the list of medias I put or their hierarchy a whole lot. I feel that I accurately represented my top medias in my first publication, even with leaving those other 2 sections out.
