My research aims at the numerical analysis and simulation of kinetic and hyperbolic equations, with a particular emphasis on gas and fluid dynamics. It focuses on elastic and inelastic Boltzmann equations for gas mixtures, the hydrodynamic limits of mixtures and granular gases, and the development of asymptotic preserving schemes for stiff kinetic and hyperbolic systems. I also investigate hyperbolic models for chemotaxis and collective cell migration.
