Tomi Kyyrä

I am Research Professor at VATT Institute for Economic Research, Helsinki. I am also Research Fellow of the IZA@LISER Network and Adjunct Professor at the University of Helsinki. I have PhD in economics from University of Helsinki (2007).

My research covers a wide range of topics within public and labor economics. My current work concentrates on estimating the causal effects of different social security programs, such as active labor market, unemployment benefit and disability benefit programs.
