Tom Foolery 

We’re Tom Foolery.  A band from Jeannette, Pennsylvania that makes loud, emotional music about all the stuff we probably should’ve processed in therapy. It started the way a lot of bands do four friends hanging out, messing around with instruments, and realizing we might actually be onto something. We didn’t plan for this to become a real thing, but now we’re here, playing shows, recording music, and figuring it out as we go since 2022. 

The band is Preston Barnett on vocals and rhythm guitar, Nick Cataldo on lead guitar, Logan Bortz on bass, and Jake Willner on the drums. We’ve all got different influences and sounds we bring to the table, but at the end of the day, we just like writing songs that are catchy and goofy. Our sound pulls from alternative, emo, funk, nu-metal, and some hiphop influence. We call it "Post-Funk". It’s raw, sometimes messy, but always honest.

Our first album "Fools of Rock", is kind of our mission statement. It’s a little nostalgic, very demo-y feel, and raw. 

When we play live, we go all in just like the Entry Fee at Uncle Jim's favorite casino. We don’t care if it’s a packed venue or just a few friends standing in the back every show is a chance to let it all out. No gimmicks,  just music and energy and maybe a few questionable jokes between songs (mainly from Nick). 

Tom Foolery is the result of growing up in a place where nothing ever happens, feeling too much goofiness, and deciding to make some noise about it. We're figuring it out one release at a time, and we’re glad you’re here for the ride. More songs are coming soon we’re just getting started.
