NEW GAME // TOMB RAIDER UNITY
Combining elements from all the past versions of Lara Croft, this new era is known as the ''Unified Timeline'' borrowing from the Classic games up to the more recent Survivor Trilogy
With a delicatebalance of Action, Puzzles and Traversals, TOMB RAIDING will be the main focus of the next chapters - both in games and complementary mediums
Embark on a globe-trotting adventure spanning 3 continents and multiple countries, in an attempt to prevent the rise of a powerful ancient civilisation
The next game is built using the powerful UNREAL ENGINE 5 for increased visual integrity and wide platform compatibility. More accessible and stable than ever.

Our brand new COMPANION AI system enables to unlock immersive gameplay elements with a large supporting cast featuring old and new characters
The Croft Manor is making a permanent return starting with this new title - as a training hub, progress indicator or just a lovely place to relax between expeditions, the Croft Manor is always available
Use the AXES in close quarter combat or upgrade your ranged skill tree to use them as ranged weapons. While we have seen concept art of the dual pistols and the bow & arrows, it seems Crystal Dynamics wishes to change Lara's iconic weapons once again

SLATE OF REMAKES // TOMB RAIDER II to V (releasing 2023-2026)
Classic TOMB RAIDER games are being adapted one by one up to Tomb Raider Chronicles, with a remake releasing every year starting with this year.
Powered by UNREAL ENGINE 5, these remakes will utilize the same cast and will include new cutscenes, expanded levels and more.
When asked about the sudden interest in so many remakes, EMBRACER GROUP replied:
''It is basically printing money. Seeing how CAPCOM is constantly remaking Resident Evil, or even SQUARE ENIX and their Final Fantasy titles, we figured TOMB RAIDER could also benefit from remakes. The player base has been quite vocal about it, as have been the shareholders, so here we are - releasing a remake every year.''
There are no plans for remakes of the LEGEND timeline yet, although Crystal Dynamics hinted they are working on remakes of the SURVIVOR TRILOGY which started with 2013's TOMB RAIDER and ended with 2018's SHADOW OF THE TOMB RAIDER
''These games are 5 to 10 years old already, they're ripe for getting a remake treatment. They'll be reworked from the ground up using UNREAL ENGINE 5 or maybe even 6, if it's out in the next 10 years''
MULTIPLE PORTS // TOMB RAIDER LAU (releasing 2024-2026)
Multiple ports have also been announced in the press release which currently includes these titles:
Tomb Raider Legend (original release: 2006)
Tomb Raider Anniversary (original release: 2007)
Tomb Raider Underworld (original release: 2008)
These titles are slated to be release on iOS, Android, Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo Switch starting in spring 2024 alongside the new game
These ports will not be remakes but remasters - when asked about the difference, Crystal Dynamics described:
''Well one is built from the ground up and the other is adapted from the ground up but based on a pre-existing foundation - foundation. As in the old FOUNDATION ENGINE© that was used for the LARA CROFT games and TR2013 up to Shadow of the Tomb Raider.''
