Effective Date: July 1, 2026
These Terms of Use apply to your use of Tomato.
By downloading, accessing, or using Tomato, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Tomato is designed to help users manage screen time, reduce distractions, set app limits, schedule blocking periods, and build healthier digital habits.
Tomato is provided as a productivity and wellness tool. It does not guarantee that you will reduce your screen time or achieve any particular result.
You must be legally permitted to use Tomato and make purchases through the App Store.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should use Tomato with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
Some Tomato features require access to Apple’s Screen Time tools, including Family Controls, Device Activity, and Managed Settings.
You may be asked to grant permission for Tomato to:
Let you select apps or app categories
Track usage associated with selected apps
Apply daily limits
Schedule blocking periods
Restrict access to selected apps
You may remove these permissions through your device settings. Removing permission may cause some features to stop working.
Tomato cannot guarantee that Screen Time features will always work without interruption. Their operation may depend on your device, iOS version, Apple services, system settings, permissions, and other factors outside Tomato’s control.
Tomato may offer optional auto-renewable subscriptions that provide access to premium features.
The price and billing period shown in the app and in the App Store at the time of purchase will apply to your subscription.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account after you confirm the purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless they are cancelled before the end of the current subscription period. Apple states that auto-renewable subscriptions continue renewing until the user cancels them.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings.
Deleting Tomato does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
Subscription prices may change. Any price changes will be handled according to Apple’s App Store rules and any notice or consent requirements that apply.
Tomato may offer free trials, introductory prices, or promotional offers.
The length and terms of an offer will be displayed before purchase. Unless cancelled before the trial or promotional period ends, the subscription may automatically renew at the standard price shown at purchase.
Eligibility for trials and promotional offers may be determined by Apple.
You may be able to restore previous purchases through the app using the Apple ID originally used to make the purchase.
Tomato uses Apple’s In-App Purchase system and may use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and purchase restoration.
You agree not to:
Use Tomato for unlawful purposes
Attempt to interfere with or damage the app
Reverse engineer, copy, modify, or redistribute the app except where permitted by law
Attempt to bypass subscription checks or access paid features without payment
Use automated systems to misuse or disrupt the app
Misrepresent your identity or purchase status
Use Tomato in a way that violates the rights of another person
Tomato may be updated, modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time.
Features may change as the app develops. Some features may depend on Apple frameworks or services that can change without notice.
We do not guarantee that Tomato will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device or iOS version.
You are responsible for:
Choosing appropriate app limits and schedules
Keeping your device and Apple ID secure
Reviewing your subscription before purchasing
Managing your subscription through Apple
Ensuring that Tomato is suitable for your needs
You should not rely on Tomato for emergencies, medical treatment, mental health treatment, parental supervision, workplace compliance, or any other situation where failure of the app could cause serious harm.
Your use of Tomato is also governed by the Tomato Privacy Policy:

These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use Tomato for its intended purpose.
They do not transfer ownership of Tomato or any intellectual property to you.
Tomato is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, to the extent permitted by law.
We do not make warranties that:
Tomato will always work without interruption
Screen Time restrictions will always activate correctly
Usage information will always be complete or accurate
The app will meet every user’s needs
Errors will always be corrected immediately
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, [Your Full Legal Name or Business Name] will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Tomato.
This includes loss caused by missed limits, failed blocking schedules, unavailable features, lost data, subscription issues, device settings, or third-party services.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
You may stop using Tomato at any time by deleting the app. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
We may restrict or terminate access to Tomato if you seriously violate these Terms, misuse the app, or attempt to access it unlawfully.
Sections that should reasonably continue after termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability, will remain in effect.
Tomato is distributed through Apple’s App Store.
Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app unless a different agreement is provided through App Store Connect:

Apple is not responsible for Tomato, its content, maintenance, support, or claims relating to the app, except where Apple’s terms or applicable law state otherwise.

The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
Your continued use of Tomato after an update means you accept the revised Terms, where permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of [Your Province] and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without limiting any consumer rights you may have under the laws where you live.
