My story as a video game composer

Me making music for games was often me wanting to create a game, but due to the fact that I couldn’t I usually ended up making the music alone. What is important to me as a composer is the meeting of the ‘essence’ of the music with the ‘essence’ of the game. I relate to the game I’m interested in. Through my own imagery, sensory experiences connected with the presented image or description of the game, I try intuitively to reach and touch the ‘meaning’ of the game. All in all, the precise ‘understanding’ of the ‘meaning’ is impossible, I always connect in ‘my way’. It is my interpretation of the game, ma take on it. In this sense, the final product has more depth - my perspective and my experience adds to the perspective of other people working on the game.
