I am a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Edinburgh, working with Ben Davison. Before coming to Edinburgh, I was a PhD student at the University of Glasgow, working with Gwyn Bellamy, and the Max Planck Institute in Bonn, working with Catharina Stroppel.
I am a representation theorist, particularly interested in the geometric and combinatorial aspects of the field. My main interests include: Hecke algebras, KLR algebras and their generalizations, quantum groups, quantum symmetric pairs, modern incarnations of Schur-Weyl duality, rational Cherednik algebras, Nakajima quiver varieties and cohomological Hall algebras.
