Activities

I have reviewed or edited more than 250 manuscripts for journals such as Science, the Journal of Political Economy, and the Journal of Clinical Epidemiology (my reviewer profile). In 2020 I served on the economics and finance panel of ERC Advanced. In 2022 the Prime Minister appointed me to the Czech National Economic Council. Between 2015 and 2019 I served as full-time Advisor to the Board of the Czech National Bank.

I currently chair the economics panel of the Grant Agency of Charles University, am a member of the University's Grant Council, and serve as Associate Editor responsible for meta-analysis at the Journal of Economic Surveys. I participate in the Expert Group for supporting ERC applicants in Czechia. Additionally, I am a Research Affiliate at the Centre for Economic Policy Research in London and the Meta-Research Innovation Center at Stanford.
