I began my programming journey during my time in Electrical and Computer Engineering school at the University of Patras, where I initially delved into coding using Python and C. As I honed my skills, I transitioned to Object-Oriented Programming with Java and explored graphical applications using the Swing library.
My passion for creating interactive experiences led me to the Unity engine, where I ventured into game development and extended my expertise to crafting Extended Reality (XR) experiences. My first foray into XR occurred during my internship at Nokia Hellas, where I had the opportunity to work on exciting projects.
Building upon this experience, I joined the ISenseGroup, a part of ICCS, where I contributed to a range of XR initiatives. These projects encompassed Augmented Reality (AR) mobile applications as well as Mixed Reality (MR) applications tailored for platforms like HoloLens 2 and Meta Quest Pro.
In my spare time, I've enthusiastically undertaken personal and team projects, including games (developed both as part of game jams and market releases) and short cutscenes. Currently, my primary development environment is Unity, and I'm actively working towards including the Unreal Engine in my toolset.
I have also worked partially on mobile applications, utilizing the Flutter framework and I am also targeting to gain basic knowledge of Angular for creating web pages.
My vision is to continue pushing the boundaries of immersive technology and game development, harnessing the power of diverse tools and platforms, to create compelling and enjoyable experiences for users worldwide.
