Together With One Accord CBO was founded in Nov 2018. With the aim to improve the livelihood of children, youth, and women within Siaya County.

- Life expectancy rate in South Sakwa Region is high because of the high HIV/AIDS infection rate in the area, leaving behind young children and youths that are helpless. This project will provide them with skills and training which will enable them to be independent.

- 60% of the adult population leave in poverty with less than USD 1 a day, which means they can’t afford to take care of their families. There is a lack of employment opportunities due to illiteracy. This project will give them the skills to operate their own businesses or get some employment.

- Water in the area is seasonal and dries up during the dry season which leads to poor sanitation and lack of clean drinking water, contamination, and infectious diseases. This project will be a platform for women sharing information to educate themselves about the diseases, and with employment created in the project, they will be able to afford the health facility's treatment costs.

Hens & Cocks were acquired and taken care of to produce eggs and meat for the community. Two farm help are employed to take care of the poultry farm.

We are also currently farming vegetables and fruits trees in the garden.

Another two are employed to collect water and weed the garden.
