• Aaron Puno graduated from Pioneer High School in 2023 and was editor-in-chief of the Pioneer Optimist, where I learned to listen, ask hard questions, and hold institutions accountable. Currently, Aaron is a student at University of Michigan and a trusted leader in the University of Michigan Student Democrats. Learn more.

• Becca Hogan is an AAPS parent and former teacher with a background in education policy and government finance transparency. She has been an engaged community member focused on education advocacy, parent engagement, and increasing school funding. Learn more.

• Brandon Smith is a public school teacher (Saline Public Schools), father, union leader, and member of Governor Whitmer's Educator Advisory Council. Learn more.

• Rima Mohammad is the daughter of refugees, a parent of four, an educator, scientist, and public servant. Rima is currently in her first term on the Board and has consistently worked for equitable opportunities for students and for supporting our educators. Learn more.

• John Benson is an Ann Arbor resident and father of three young kids, the oldest in AAPS at King Elementary. He has 25 years experience in finance, particularly building risk monitoring, budget forecasting tools, and governance structures. He is running for the partial term. Learn more.
