Together We Will Palo Alto Mountain View formed in 2016, and has been committed to progressive political action ever since. We are aligned with Indivisable methodology. We do some direct actions, like protests, but we go far beyond that. Our number one goal here is to build a safe community, and we protect our Democracy.
We are centered in the mid-Peninsula, but have members all over the Bay Area.
Historically, we work together to influence our government representatives at the local, state, and national levels, and follow the Indivisible methodology in much of our work. We host some events, including protests, and we amplify vetted actions and information from other groups.
On October 18 from noon-2 pm, over 8 miles of El Camino Real from Sunnyvale to Palo Alto will be full of patriotic protesters at 16 major intersections, defending our democracy and our constitution from authoritarianism.
Following up from our June 14 No KINGS day event that drew 20000 people along the 7 miles from Sunnyvale to Palo Alto, and our 17 mile Labor Day action we are ready to do it again. Given the November 4 election, with THREE major races in Santa Clara County, we encourage get out the vote, YES ON 50, YES ON A, and a reminder to vote to County Assessor (our first change in 30 years) messaging, along with your favorite NO KINGS signs.
Signup and pick your spot along the route at one of 16 intersections.
We also need volunteers to be safety team members, put up flyers, be drivers, and command center volunteers for the day of the event.
10am-noon! We will train you, provide you materials, and get you on your way to getting voters out for the ALL IMPORTANT November 4 election. Prop 50 only has a 51% yes rating, with 15% of voters undecided; Measure A is polling in the mid 30%s. PLEASE knock doors with us. Bring your smart phone, water, and a bag to carry your materials.
