Dongzhu Liu (Member, IEEE) is a Lecturer at the School of Computing Science, University of Glasgow. Her research interests include edge AI, federated learning, differential privacy and wireless communications. Dr. Liu serves as a regular reviewer for the above journals and other international peer-reviewed journals such as IEEE Wireless Commun. Magazine, IEEE Trans. Commun., and IEEE Commun. Letters. She has been a co-chair for the IEEE ICC 2024 Workshop on Task-Oriented and Generative Communications for 6G, IEEE PIMRC 24 Workshop and workshop in VTC 23 Fall. She received the Exemplary Reviewer for IEEE Trans. Wireless Commun. in 2017.

Guangyi Liu received the Ph.D. degree from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing, China, in 2006. He is currently the Chief Scientist of 6G in China Mobile Communication Corporation (CMCC), the Founding Member and the Co-Chair of the 6G Alliance of Network AI, and the Vice-Chair of the THz Industry Alliance in China and the Wireless Technology Working Group of IMT-2030 (6G) Promotion Group supported by Ministry of Information and Industry Technology of China. He has been leading the 6G Research and Development with CMCC since 2018. He has led the Research and Development of 4G’s evolution and 5G in CMCC from 2006 to 2020. He has acted as a Spectrum Working Group Chair and the Project Coordinator of LTE Evolution and 5G eMBB in Global TD-LTE Initiative from 2013 to 2020 and led the industrialization and globalization of TD-LTE evolution and 5G eMBB.

Merouane Debbah (Fellow, IEEE) is a Professor at Khalifa University of Science and Technology in Abu Dhabi and founding Director of the KU 6G Research Center. He is affiliated as an Adjunct Professor with the Department of the School of Electrical Engineering, Korea University. He is a frequent keynote speaker at international events in the field of telecommunication and AI. His research has been lying at the interface of fundamental mathematics, algorithms, statistics, information and communication sciences with a special focus on random matrix theory and learning algorithms. In the Communication field, he has been at the heart of the development of small cells (4G), Massive MIMO (5G) and Large Intelligent Surfaces (6G) technologies. In the AI field, he is known for his work on Large Language Models, distributed AI systems for networks and semantic communications. He received multiple prestigious distinctions, prizes and best paper awards (more than 40 IEEE best paper awards) for his contributions to both fields and according to research.com is ranked as the best scientist in France in the field of Electronics and Electrical Engineering. His research interests include wireless networks (5G/6G/beyond), machine learning, game theory, quantum communications/learning, security, UAVs, semantic communications, and network science. He is the recipient of NSF CAREER award in 2013, AFOSR summer faculty fellowship in 2014, and Young Investigator Award from the Office of Naval Research (ONR) in 2015. He was the (co-)author of twelve conference best paper awards including IEEE GLOBECOM (2018 and 2020) and ICC (2020 and 2022). He is the recipient of 2015 and 2022 Fred W. Ellersick Prize from the IEEE Communications Society, IEEE Communications Society Marconi Prize Award in 2023, and IEEE Communications Society Award for Advances in Communication in 2023. Other recognitions include 2017 IEEE ComSoc Best Young Professional in Academia award, 2018 IEEE ComSoc Radio Communications Committee Early Achievement Award, and 2019 IEEE ComSoc Communication Theory Technical Committee Early Achievement Award. Dingzhu Wen (Member, IEEE) is currently an Assistant Professor of the School of Information Science and Technology at ShanghaiTech University. Xiaonan Liu is currently a lecturer in the School of Natural and Computing Science, University of Aberdeen. Previously, he was a postdoctoral research associate at The University of Edinburgh and Queen Mary, University of London, UK. He received the Ph.D. degree in Informatics from the Department of Engineering, King’s College London, UK, in 2022, the B.S. degree in electronics and information processing, and the M.E. degree in communication engineering from the Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China, in 2016 and 2019, respectively. His research interests include machine learning and wireless communications. Dr. Liu is a co-author of journal papers in IEEE Journal on Sel. Area Commun., IEEE Trans. He has won the IEEE Communication Society of TAOS Best Paper Award in 2019 ICC, IEEE IoT Journal Best Paper Award 2022 and Best Paper Award in 22nd ICCT. He has been the guest editor for special issues of several international journals.
