Jeffrey G. Andrews (Fellow, IEEE) received the B.S. degree (with High Distinction) in engineering from Harvey Mudd College, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Stanford University. He is the Truchard Family Chair of Engineering and the Director of 6G@UT with the University of Texas at Austin. He developed CDMA systems with Qualcomm. He has coauthored the books Fundamentals of WiMAX (Prentice-Hall, 2007) and Fundamentals of LTE (Prentice-Hall, 2010). He is an ISI Highly Cited Researcher and has been the co-recipient of 15 paper awards, including the 2016 IEEE Communications Society & Information Theory Society Joint Paper Award, the 2014 IEEE Stephen O. Rice Prize, the 2014 and 2018 IEEE Leonard G. Abraham Prize, the 2011 and 2016 IEEE Heinrich Hertz Prize, and the 2010 IEEE ComSoc Best Tutorial Paper Award. He received the 2015 Terman Award, the NSF CAREER Award, and the 2019 IEEE Kiyo Tomiyasu Technical Field Award. He was the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, the Chair of the IEEE Communications Society Emerging Technologies Committee, and is the Founding Chair of the Steering Committee for the IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Information Theory, amongst other IEEE leadership roles.

Robert Schober (Fellow, IEEE) received the Diplom (Univ.) and the Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU), Germany, in 1997 and 2000, respectively. He is an Alexander von Humboldt Professor and the Chair for Digital Communication at FAU. Dr. Schober received several awards for his work including the 2002 Heinz Maier Leibnitz Award of the German Science Foundation (DFG), the 2004 Innovations Award of the Vodafone Foundation for Research in Mobile Communications, a 2006 UBC Killam Research Prize, a 2007 Wilhelm Friedrich Bessel Research Award of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the 2008 Charles McDowell Award for Excellence in Research from UBC, a 2011 Alexander von Humboldt Professorship, a 2012 NSERC E.W.R. Stacie Fellowship, and a 2017 Wireless Communications Recognition Award by the IEEE Wireless Communications Technical Committee. Since 2017, he has been listed as a Highly Cited Researcher. Dr. Schober is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering and a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada. He served as Editor- in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Communications. Currently, he serves as Member of the Editorial Board of the Proceedings of the IEEE and as VP Publications for the IEEE Communication Society.

Dingzhu Wen (Member, IEEE) is currently an Assistant Professor of the School of Information Science and Technology at ShanghaiTech University. He received the Bachelor degree and the Master degree from the Department (School) of Information Science and Electronic Engineering of Zhejiang University in 2014 and 2017, respectively, and received the Ph. D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of The University of Hong Kong in 2021. His research interests include federated edge learning, edge artificial intelligent inference, integrated sensing-communication-computation, over-the-air computation, in-band full-duplex communications, and device-to-device communications. He served as the session chairs of APEMC 2022 and IEEE ICC 2023, the TPC members of IEEE ICC 2023, IEEE GlobeCom 2022, IEEE VTC-Fall 2020, and IEEE WCSP 2018, the TPC co-chair of IEEE PIMRC 2023 workshop on “Edge Learning for 5G Mobile Networks and Beyond”, and the co-chair of IEEE VTC 2023-Fall workshop on “Task-Oriented Communications and Networking for 6G”. He was a recipient of the exemplary reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Communications in 2023.

Dongzhu Liu (Member, IEEE) is a lecturer (assistant professor) at the School of Computing Science, University of Glasgow. She received the PhD degree from the University of Hong Kong in 2019, and the B.Eng. degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 2015. From 2019 to 2021, she was a postdoctoral research associate at the Department of Engineering, King's College London. Her research interests include edge AI, federated learning, differential privacy and wireless communications. Dr. Liu is a co-author of a book chapter in Machine Learning and Wireless Communications and journal papers in IEEE Journal on Sel. Area Commun., IEEE Trans. Wireless Commun., IEEE Commun. Magazine, IEEE Trans. on Cognitive Commun. Netw. She also serves as a regular reviewer for the above journals and other international peer-reviewed journals such as IEEE Wireless Commun. Magazine, IEEE Trans. Commun., and IEEE Commun. Letters. Jihong Park (Senior Member, IEEE) is a Lecturer at the School of IT, Deakin University, Australia. Osvaldo Simeone (Fellow, IEEE) is a Professor of the Department of Engineering, King’s College London. He received an M.Sc. degree (with honors) and a Ph.D. degree in information engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, in 2001 and 2005, respectively. His research interests include information theory, machine learning, wireless communications, neuromorphic computing, and quantum machine learning. Dr. Simeone is a co-recipient of the 2022 IEEE Communications Society Outstanding Paper Award, the 2021 IEEE Vehicular Technology Society Jack Neubauer Memorial Award, the 2019 IEEE Communication Society Best Tutorial Paper Award, the 2018 IEEE Signal Processing Best Paper Award, the 2017 JCN Best Paper Award, the 2015 IEEE Communication Society Best Tutorial Paper Award and of the Best Paper Awards of IEEE SPAWC 2007 and IEEE WRECOM 2007.
