Upcoming 2024 Hyde Invitational for middle and elementary school students. 

• When: 3/9 -  3/10/2024

• Where: Virtual （NSDA Campus platform）

• Who: mainly for elementary and middle schoolers

Events and Divisions

Middle School

• Debate

  • Open MS Policy Debate, Novice MS Policy Debate, Lincoln-Douglas Debate and Public Forum Debate.

  • Middle School Spontaneous Argument (SPAR)  - Offered on a separate schedule

• Speech

  • Dramatic Interpretation, Informative/Expository, Extemporaneous, Humorous Interpretation, Declamation/Oratorical Interpretation, Original Oratory, Prose and Poetry (to combine both Original Prose & Poetry and Poetry Interp), Program of Oral Interpretation. 

  • Middle School Impromptu - Offered on a separate schedule

Elementary School

• Elementary Impromptu Speaking

• Elementary Spontaneous Argument (SPAR).

Note: Elementary school students are also welcome to enter any of the middle school divisions.
