Policy Work

From 2016 to 2018, I have worked as the scientific assistant to the Advisory Board of the Stability Council of Germany which monitors Germany's compliance with the debt brake according to the EU Fiscal Compact and also represents Germany in the European Network of Independent Fiscal Institutions (EU IFI). In cooperation with BAK Basel, I have advised the Swiss Cantons on corporate tax policy and have contributed to the BAK Taxation Index.

I have been part of the European Network of Economic and Fiscal Policy (EconPol). See here for our policy report on the EU’s anti-tax avoidance measures which gathered media attention here.
