TodoShot — Privacy Policy

IgniteSoft ("we", "us") operates TodoShot ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive identifiers necessary to authenticate you (such as a user ID and, depending on your choices, name and email). Sign in with Apple may provide a private relay email.
Screenshots and task data
When you use AI capture, screenshots you submit are uploaded to our cloud infrastructure for OCR and AI processing. We store screenshots, generated task content, workspaces, and related metadata to provide sync and task management.
Usage data
We track the number of successful AI captures per month to enforce free-tier limits. We may collect basic diagnostic logs (e.g., errors, timestamps) to maintain and improve the App.
Device permissions
The App may request:
• Screen Recording — for region capture (Cmd+Shift+T)
• Screenshot folder access — to detect new screenshots in a folder you select
• Notifications — to alert you about capture status and reminders
• Network access — to sync data and process captures
We do not access your screen or files beyond what you explicitly trigger or authorize.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
• Provide, operate, and improve TodoShot
• Process screenshots with OCR and AI to create tasks
• Sync your tasks across sessions
• Enforce subscription and usage limits
• Send local/push notifications you enable
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
3. Third-Party Services
TodoShot uses trusted service providers:
Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store billing, push notifications (APNs)
Google — Sign in with Google, Firebase infrastructure
Firebase (Google Cloud) — Authentication, database (Firestore), file storage, App Check
Google Cloud / AI — OCR and AI task generation
RevenueCat — Subscription management and entitlement verification
These providers process data according to their own privacy policies. Data may be stored on servers located outside your country.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data and tasks while your account is active. Screenshots and associated tasks remain until you delete them or delete your account. Usage counters reset monthly. We may retain limited logs for security and legal compliance.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), Firebase security rules, App Sandbox on macOS, and access controls tied to your authenticated user ID. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
• Access, correct, or delete your personal data
• Export your data (contact us)
• Withdraw consent where applicable
• Object to or restrict certain processing
Account deletion: You can delete your account in TodoShot Settings. This removes your associated cloud data subject to reasonable backup retention periods.
Permissions: You can revoke Screen Recording or folder access in macOS System Settings at any time. Some features may stop working.
Subscriptions: Managed through your Apple ID; we do not process payment details directly.
7. Children's Privacy
TodoShot is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data.
8. International Users
If you use TodoShot from outside Vietnam, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries where our service providers operate, including the United States.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the revised version with an updated "Last updated" date. Significant changes may be communicated in-app or by email where appropriate.
