Welcome to To-Do List ('the App'), developed by DevStudio. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about our data practices.
The App collects only the information you directly provide when creating and managing tasks:
Task Title – The name or subject of your task.
Task Description – Optional details or notes about the task.
Priority Level – Low, Medium, or High priority setting.
Category – A label to organize tasks (e.g., Personal, Work).
Due Date – An optional deadline for the task.
Completion Status – Whether a task is marked as complete or active.
Creation Timestamp – The date and time a task was created.
All data is stored exclusively on your device using a local SQLite database (Room Database). No data is transmitted to external servers, cloud services, or third parties. Your tasks remain entirely under your control and are only accessible through the App on your device.
The App does not collect or access:
Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
Location data (GPS or network-based)
Device identifiers (IMEI, advertising ID)
Contacts, photos, camera, or microphone
Usage analytics or crash reports
Any data from the internet or external APIs
The App does not require internet permission and does not communicate with any remote server. There is no analytics SDK, advertising network, or third-party tracking library integrated into the App.
We do not sell, share, rent, or disclose your data to any third party under any circumstances, because no data ever leaves your device.
The App has Android's standard backup enabled (android:allowBackup='true'). If you use Android's built-in backup feature (e.g., Google Drive backup), your task data may be included in your device backup. This backup is managed entirely by Android/Google and is subject to Google's own privacy policy. You may disable this in your device settings.
You have full control over your data:
Delete individual tasks at any time from within the App.
Delete all completed tasks at once using the 'Delete Completed' option.
Uninstalling the App will permanently remove all stored task data from your device.
The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected at all, the App is safe for users of all ages.
All task data is stored in a private, sandboxed database on your device. Only the App has access to this database. No encryption key management or network security applies, as no data is transmitted externally.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
