“To Do List” is a commercial Android application developed and maintained by an individual developer. This SERVICE is provided as-is and is intended for use by users who agree with this Privacy Policy. This page informs visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information for those who decide to use the Service. By using this app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. The personal information collected is used only for providing and improving the Service and enabling necessary features. • For a better experience while using our Service, the app itself stores your task content locally on your device (titles, notes, due dates, completion status, priority, tags). We do not upload your task content to our servers.

• The app integrates third‑party services that may collect certain device and usage information under their own policies:

  • Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) for showing ads to non‑premium users

  • Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for consent (e.g., EEA/UK/US states where required)

  • Google Play Billing for handling purchases/subscriptions

  • Google Play Services as underlying Google framework components

What third parties may collect (handled by Google under their terms)

• Advertising ID (AAID) or device identifiers

• App activity (e.g., ad views/interactions), coarse location signals (e.g., region), IP address, and general device information

• Purchase state/entitlements (via Google Play Billing). We do not receive your card details.

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as passwords or credit card numbers. We do not operate our own analytics or crash reporting servers. All data collection by third‑party SDKs occurs subject to their privacy policies and your consent where applicable.

Advertising ID

• Our app may access the Google Advertising ID (AAID) as provided by Android. This identifier may be used by AdMob to display personalized or non‑personalized ads and to measure ad performance.

• The Advertising ID is not directly tied by us to personally identifiable information and can be reset or limited from your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads or similar).

Premium and Ads

• If you purchase the “Remove Ads” subscription, the app disables all ad requests (banners, interstitial, rewarded). Premium users therefore do not receive ad traffic and, in practice, do not need ad consent prompts.

Consent (EEA/UK/US states)

• In regions where legally required (e.g., EEA/UK and certain US states), we use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request consent related to ads. Depending on your choice:

  • Personalized ads: AdMob may use data as described by Google’s policies.

  • Non‑personalized ads: The app sends a non‑personalized ad request (e.g., npa=1).

  • No consent / Consent not required: Ads may still be shown as allowed by local law (often non‑personalized). Premium users see no ads.

Log Data

• Whenever you use our Service, third‑party SDKs (e.g., AdMob) may collect technical information such as IP address, device information, app version, timestamps, ad load events, interactions, and error diagnostics.

• We do not run our own analytics or crash reporting services and do not host such logs on our own servers.

• Your task data is stored locally on your device using Android’s platform storage (e.g., SQLite/Room).

• While we endeavor to use commercially acceptable means to protect information, no method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please protect your device with strong authentication and keep your OS updated.

• This Service may contain links to external sites or trigger external activities (e.g., Google Play subscription management). These sites/services are not operated by us. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of any external site or service. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for their content, privacy policies, or practices.

Children’s Privacy

• Our Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that a child under the applicable age has provided personal information, we will instruct the user to delete the app data locally. We do not maintain server copies.

• Your task data resides on your device. You can delete tasks within the app or uninstall the app to remove local data.
