Today does not require an account, does not show ads, and does not use analytics or tracking. Your data stays on your device. The only third-party service is RevenueCat, which handles in-app purchase verification.
Preferences: your chosen theme, font, quote, and widget settings.
Health & Motion data: if you grant permission, Today reads your step count from Apple Health / Motion & Fitness to display it. This data is only read and shown on your device. It is never stored on our servers, shared, or sold.
Location: if you grant permission, your approximate location is used to calculate sunrise, sunset, and daylight length. We do not store or transmit your location to our servers.
You can revoke any permission at any time in iOS Settings.
Today is a one-time purchase unlocked through an in-app purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple, and we manage purchase status using RevenueCat. RevenueCat may receive:
an anonymous app user ID,
purchase and transaction information (product, date, status),
basic device and app information (e.g., device model, OS version, app version, country/region).

No accounts, no email addresses, no advertising identifiers, no analytics, no tracking, and no sale or sharing of personal data.
Today does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Data on your device is deleted when you delete the app. Purchase records held by Apple and RevenueCat are retained as required for purchase validation and legal compliance. To ask about or request deletion of purchase-related data, contact us below.
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will change, and significant changes will be noted in the app or on our policy page.
