You can add more glycerin but might make your hands feel sticky,
Liquid soap
I cup melt and pour soap base of your choice
2 cups distilled water
Optional
A few drops Essential oil of choice,
1 tsp oil of choice
Instructions: cut up and melt soap base (I use a microwave in 30 second busts, till fully melted) DO NOT over heat as will burn and stink
Boil 2 cups distilled water
Add soap to water and mix
Let set overnight
Add skin safe scent and soap color
Optional add 1 tsp oil like olive or almond oil to soap before mixing with water
Put into pump bottle
You can add more water if you want it thinner
Sanitizing wipes
Cottony textured paper towels or clean rags
Large container (like a large mason jar)
3/4 cup 95% grain alcohol
1/4 cup boiled distilled water
A few drops Essential oil of choice
We pulled off a bunch of paper towels and layered them into the mason jar (not too stuffed or you might have trouble getting them out to use)
Mix ingredients and add to jar
Shake jar to evenly distribute
Be careful as alcohol and/or the essential oils can damage some surfaces
If using rags make sure they don’t leak dye in the solution
Do not use bleach as it loses effectiveness is about 24 hours when mixed with water
Essential oil safety
We used lavender, bergamot, a thieves oil like blend, and eucalyptus
Citrus oils are photo sensitizing and may make you burn in the sun
Do not get the oils undiluted on your skin if you do wash your hands ASAP
